Okay so I am ALL about comfort these days...well this holds true even when I’m not pregnant. Anyways, on Amazon Prime day I found the most comfortable t-shirt dresses EVER! Now I’ll admit I was a little skeptical about what the quality would be like but I went ahead and ordered them in a few colors. Oh. My. Gosh. They are AMAZING! Seriously they are so soft and get even softer with washing! Don’t miss out on this amazing find. It’s true to size and non maternity! I’m wearing an X-Small in both colors and they are all under $20!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is HERE! Well it has been for card holders over the past week, but it opens to the public for anyone to shop from July 20th - August 5th! There are still a TON of amazing finds and deals. And, always be sure to keep checking for items you really love because they are often restocked!

This sale is the PERFECT time to stock up on staple pieces for your closet that you can use over and over again. Otherwise known as a "capsule" wardrobe, these pieces are versatile and can be looked at as investments, even though most of them are amazingly priced! The thing I love about Nordstrom is they carry high quality lines of clothing and the stuff isn't going to fall apart after a few months!

I did an Instagram try on session on my stories so you can see all of the looks I've put together there, but I've also uploaded pictures of the looks and my favorite finds from the sale below!

Everything I'm wearing is Non-Maternity and size XS and shoes are 8.5. I found all items to be true to size as well!

Starting off with my FAVORITE look from this sale! This Color Block Coat is to die for and it comes in this camel/black color and also a navy/burgundy combo, also only $84.90! I'm wearing an XS.. I've paired it with a skinny jean and white tee (featured below) and these Vince Camuto over the knee boots in black (also available in grey and taupe). These boots run true to size, I'm wearing an 8.5 and they also don't fall down your leg if you have twig legs like me...but they aren't a tight zipper fit either. Basically, they're perfect!

This Henley Thermal Top (UPDATE - SOLD OUT will let you know when/if back in stock) is one of the softest shirts ever. Here I'm wearing it in Oatmeal, size XS and I also featured it in the picture below in a light purple color. It's perfect paired with any jean, these are maternity (not from the sale), but here are some of my favorite JEANS from the sale at a really great price (only $59.90)!

Next up is this perfect Camo Print Utility Jacket. I love the pink detail and that it's lightweight and a little longer because let's be honest, we don't always want the cropped look on those bloated days (or when your 8 months pregnant). It's also under $50 and comes in this style and a plain green if camo isn't your thing. I've paired it with the Henley above and these Jeffrey Campbell booties which are just perfect and true to size (I'm wearing an 8.5). The booties are limited in size as of right now, so here is a perfect alternative (and cheaper option) in a bunch of colors and sizes!

Okay how fun is this Teddy Bear Coat?! It's the perfect fall color and it is so soft you have to feel it for yourself...I could live in it! The sizes on this are running out quickly so grab it while you can!

Next up is this Textured Knit Pull-Over for only $25.90! It's available in several colors and sizes still and is really comfortable. It also has those long sleeves which if you're anything like me, you love in the fall and winter to pull over your hands.

Living in New York (especially in NYC) a perfect black wrap coat is an essential wardrobe piece. This one is so cute and fits true to size. It's still available in a ton of sizes and a few color options too! I love the neckline on this and that it hugs in all the right places giving you a perfect silhouette figure. It's also really high quality and only $169! An investment that is sure to last for years!

Okay who doesn't love a great pair of PJs?! As I get older I feel more obligated to wear real pajamas once in a while, especially for things like traveling with others, etc. These J-Crew PJs are perfect and come in a few different colors. I will caution that the white are kind of see through, nothing crazy, but if you aren't comfortable with that, I'd opt for a darker color. I'm wearing an XS.

I've also styled some looks that I don't have all of the pieces for yet. I'm obsessed with this next look with the suede skirt, crop top, and over-the-knee boots. Now I probably won't be showing this when I get the skirt (or at least not with the crop top right now) but I'm obsessed and can't wait to wear it in the fall! I would style the top in white but the black also totally works!

Everyday Striped Dress

Happy Friday everyone! I've found the perfect, lightweight dress for running around before the weekend. It's non-maternity but can totally be worn for maternity as well with its swing hem and soft jersey knit material. I'm 8 months pregnant here and wearing a size XS which is my standard size pre-pregnancy, so its definitely a piece for everyone!

This is a GAP find and honestly, I love GAP. I always find cute, high-quality, and affordable pieces that never seem to go out of style. I was definitely a GAP kid and all I've done is transition to a GAP adult! I'm wearing the striped navy pattern, but this dress also comes in black stripes and then a pink solid and black solid color. I paired this with my favorite white sneakers by Vince Camuto which I've blogged about way too much already this summer, but I just can't stop, they are so good and comfy!

The Softest Maternity Dress

I am completely in love with this dress! Most maternity wear doesn't fit me too well which has been nice for my wallet during this pregnancy, but I finally caved and bought some maternity dresses for these last few months. Now, I wish I would have done it earlier because this is the SOFTEST most comfortable dress I have put on in a long time. It is ruched in the stomach to accommodate a growing bump but it doesn't have a ton of extra hanging fabric which is what I ran into with many other maternity wear options.

I am wearing a size Small here.

Also, how about these ruffle sandals??! I bought these at Target because they were just too cute to pass up and were on a MAJOR sale. They ended up matching perfectly and my feet don't slide out of them. They are a soft, suede fabric and are prefect for any spring or summer outfit!

I'm wearing a size 8.5 in the shoes because I think they run a little small. They also come in 3 colors!!

Backyard Pool Day

What better way to beat this summer heat...especially when you aren’t allowed to go to the real pool, then with a improvised backyard pool!? Keep reading for all of the pool and swimmie details!

Okay so if any of you saw my Insta stories and lack of posts this week, you found out I am stuck at home for the next 4-5 weeks because Baby R didn’t get the memo that he or she still needs to keep baking!

I was really upset when I found out I’d be on a pretty low activity level, especially because it’s the middle of summer and I LOVE the beach and the pool. So, this week I went on a search for an inexpensive “adult” inflatable pool. I didn’t have to look too far before amazing AMAZON delivered!! This pool is huge and easily seats 4 adults sprawled out so it’s perfect for cooking off and would totally fit in a small city backyard as well. I seriously want to have people over now to my pool haha!
